Route: The route begins at Plaza Melies (Pineda town center). From this point, users can access the service. The journey takes approximately one hour.

We’ll head towards the Renfe train station with connections to Barcelona, ​​Girona, or the surrounding towns. We’ll continue through its streets, past fountains and squares, taking in the commercial area with its terraces, restaurants, beach bars, and shops.

Upon reaching the seafront promenade, we will discover the fishermen’s beach, its activity parks for the whole family, and continue through the hotel area and the campsites.

The final stop is still to come: the Poble Nou neighborhood. Every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the weekly market is held there. (During the stop, those who wish can visit the chapel of San Juan Bautista, located very close to the tourist train stop.)

The return journey begins in Pueblo Nuevo. We will enjoy a pleasant family stroll, its shops, sunshine, sea breeze, and friendly people. There are several stops along this route; please consult the brochure.

As we approach our destination, we’ll also come across the auditorium-library, a continuation of the old library designed by Manuel Serrá i Moret (1922), which we can see in Plaça Méliès and which was one of the first public libraries in Catalonia. The route ends here. Now it’s time to walk, and in a few minutes we can visit the house of Doctor Bartomeu, which features Modernist elements from that period.

Also very close to the tourist train stop you can visit the Pineda de Mar town center route: Noucentista Town Hall (1917), its church Santa María de Pineda (16th century) in Gothic and Baroque style, or the Chapel of San Antonio (18th century), Can Comas (16th-19th century).
